Wash the chicken wings. Drain well then pat dry with a kitchen towel. Season evenly with salt then set aside.
Combine all ingredients of the marinade. Mix well. Pour paste onto the chicken. Massage the wings with the paste, coating all parts evenly. Use gloves if mixing by hand or use a rubber spatula.
Grease baking sheet with oil. Arrange the chicken wings on the baking sheet and bake for 30 to 40 minutes.

Taste the BBQ sauce before adding the chicken. Adjust the hot sauce according to your preference.
For convenience and easy preparation, use wingettes, and drummettes instead of whole chicken wings.
I used Siracha for the heat. Feel free to use your favorite hot sauce. Adjust the amount accordingly to suit your preference.
