Ingredients
4cupswatermeloncut in small chunks
1canlychee
1cupice cubes
lychee syrupoptional
Instructions
Cut watermelon in cubes. Drain the lychee syrup from the can. Reserve the liquid if you are going to use it as a sweetener.
Add watermelon and lychee in a blender. Blend until smooth. Add the ice cubes then blend again. Add lychee syrup if you want more sweetness or more ice cubes to lessen the sweetness.
Serve and enjoy!
Notes
If you don’t like watermelon seeds in your smoothie, look for the seedless variety. It will save you so much time.
If you are watching your sugar intake and prefer a less sweet smoothie, rinse the lychee fruit with water before adding it in the blender.
For a more intense lychee flavor and sweeter smoothie, add the syrup from the can. It is sweet so I recommend adding one tablespoon at a time. Adjust the amount accordingly based on your preference.
Adding too much ice cubes will dilute the watermelon and lychee flavor. So just use enough to make the smoothie ice cold.
