These baked barbecue hot chicken wings are smoky, moist and flavorful with just the right amount of heat.

Oven-Baked Chicken Wings

This is probably the easiest hot wings you'll ever make. No frying and no grilling means less fuss and less mess. Perfect for impromptu parties, game nights or just about any day.

With just a few simple ingredients you can create that barbecue flavor you're craving for. The secret is in the paste, specifically smoked paprika so don't skip it.

Mix it all the ingredients together and massage it with the wings to coat all sides evenly.

Homemade BBQ sauce ingredients. The ESSENTIALS

  • garlic powder
  • smoked paprika
  • ketchup
  • siracha or any hot sauce
  • vinegar
  • sugar

I used Siracha for the heat. Feel free to use your favorite hot sauce. Adjust the amount accordingly to suit your preference.

Oven-Baked Chicken Wings

For convenience and easy preparation, I recommend using wingettes and drummettes instead of whole chicken wings. It is easier to eat and so much enjoyable to munch on!
