Baked Barbecue Hot Chicken Wings
Ingredients
- 2 pounds/900 grams chicken wings
- ½ teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoons oil (for baking)
Marinade
- 2 tablespoons garlic powder
- ½ teaspoons salt
- 2 teaspoons smoke paprika
- 3 tablespoons ketchup
- 1-2 tablespoons siracha (adjust accordingly)
- 2 teaspoons white vinegar
- 1 tablespoon sugar
- 1 teaspoon ground black pepper
- 2 teaspoons cooking oil
Instructions
- Pre-heat oven to 200c/400f.
- Wash the chicken wings. Drain well then pat dry with a kitchen towel. Season evenly with salt then set aside.
- Combine all ingredients of the marinade. Mix well. Pour paste onto the chicken. Massage the wings with the paste, coating all parts evenly. Use gloves if mixing by hand or use a rubber spatula.
- Grease baking sheet with oil. Arrange the chicken wings on the baking sheet and bake for 30 to 40 minutes.
